we call it artisan web design.
we begin with a blank page, like you did.

and then we spill a bunch of coffee on it, and let the cats walk around on it!
really, it looks kind of like that, doesn't it? it's supposed to be clever... one of mr. corax's ideas...

we develop the concept,
the styles,
the formatting, and
we undertake to execute it.

But we write the code ourselves; there's no authoring software or drag-and-drop design going on, which is why we call it

artisan

We liken it to the development of an industrial facility; consultations with the various engineers determine where to put the pipes and valves and ladders and stairways; if they did their job well, the users of the facility don't have to think about the design choices, they get to just use the site.

We provide experience in multi-media development, abundant copy-writing practice, and an eye for lean, eye-catching web and digital media design.

You provide the opportunity and the questions; we all go on from there.

For more on our services and practices, see the About page; also be sure to check out the FAQ.

a redesign:

according to my files,

I began working on this on 12 september 2009;
many hours of hand-coding, taking web screenshots and formatting all sorts of images and writing content...

on 1 february 2010, I archived the old files, and put up the new site.

here's a shot of the old page...
man, it was time.
↑ I like the blockquote effect, don't you? just a sample of nifty stuff.
